Tell us something interesting about you that’s not on your resume.
I am an amateur baker and started off baking my daughter’s first birthday cake. It’s now become a birthday tradition.
After working in finance, accounting, and customer success for over a decade, you’ve made the move into the recruitment industry. How would you say your past career experiences have prepared you for managing engagements and creating new business opportunities at Clarity?
My experience as a CPA in Industry allows me to understand the complexities of a role and helps to identify the right candidate profile to ensure we meet client needs. While working in Customer Success, the transformative nature of strong relationships allowed me to map a value-added journey with my clients to overcome current challenges and position us for future growth.
Combining my technical experience with relationship-building and nurturing abilities is enabling me to partner with Clarity’s high-growth client base. A bonus is that I find these companies very interesting, and I enjoy working with people!
Fast forward 6 months from now, what would success look like to you in your new role at Clarity as Sr. Engagement Manager?
I envision myself building upon the relationships I’ve been creating and nurturing. I see myself being a partner to my clients to both fully understand their needs and be proactive in solving for their challenges. Businesses face several transformational events and being a trusted partner built upon a strong relationship will create a lasting impact.
We’re always looking for recommendations – what are you currently reading/watching/listening to? (Netflix, podcasts, books etc.).
Re-watching The Office which is even better the second time around! I’m also listening to The Freakonomics & TED Radio podcasts.
We know how you’ll be spending your 9-5. What keeps you busy outside of work in your 5-9?
The kids! I have 2 active kids, so shuttling them around town to various activities keeps me busy.
